OK, I know LDR is pathetic in terms of TRP but I wonder if you guys can give me some insights on this.

So I've got this really cute girlfriend who said she's in love with me. I know she is serious because she started to save money so she can visit me (I can't go at the moment), told about me to her parents, etc.

The problem is that she is not really showing affection when texting. As she is Asian (half Chinese) I'm hamstering myself that maybe it's a different culture or she is just low on self esteem/introverted/hard headed/stubborn. She says she is missing me from time to time though.

I tried to follow Poon's 2/3 rule of texting but I go crazy because one-two day can go by until she texts me and apparently I'm much needier than her.

Should I tell her that I need more affection? Or just continue like this and see if the relationship fades out at all?

If I break up now I think I would be sorry for it later because she's a nice girl with good carreer and we had really good sex. At the moment my SMV is not that high anyway so I need to work on that.
