Does anyone still have the article about the welfare state that the U.S. used to have just for women?

I remember reading an article on this sub about how the U.S. used to have a robust welfare state just for women that they dismantled once women started going to work in large numbers. I think that it was on NPR. But I can't find it. I would like to use it as a source for a discussion on r/neutralnews Does anyone remember what I am talking about?
