There are special health programs in the US that give women free screenings for heart problems.

Which is great and all but no such program exists for men.

Look feminists will use mental gymnastics to make something worse for women. Funnily they will not use that same logic for men.

So I just saw on guardian a book is being released by some woman dr on how healthcare is so much worse for women and women arent included in resaerch

Now much of what she says is exagerrated (one persepctive only) or old. However, her overall point doesnt make sense.... men have worse healthcare outcomes and get more conidtions, and die more from these.... so even if her arguement was true that healthcare is tailored for men, well men have worse healthcare outcomes so that would even justify it being tatgetted to men.

Oddly on her twitter she claimed women have worse healthcare outcomes in all areas.. factually that isnt even true even if you used the specfic female lens

Also they are calling for me sex aggregated data... which is good... but surely theis is just going to highlight even more how bad mens health is

It's an over-correction of what used to be a bit of a problem. It used to be viewed only as a men's problem, because it happens so much more often to men. This meant that women went under the radar with heart problems and didn't know the importance of monitoring their own heart health, or even what a heart problem might be like if they experience one.

But, nowadays, it's very easy to think the opposite. That it's primarily a women's health issue. Because all of the messaging and programs related to heart health are women focused, or at best gender neutral (with heavy female representation). We've got a generation of boys who have grown up being told, perhaps by accident, that heart disease is something that happens to women.

Everything today for heart disease is how it’s worse for women.

Huh? It has always been common knowledge men are much more vulnerable to heart disease. I'm not aware anything has changed except for campaigns to tell women they are not immune.

Can you link one? I've never see an article that didn't acknowledge men are more at risk.
