I know that there's a vast majority of leftists who are overwhelming in favor of feminism, but I feel that many sections of the left are starting to be more critical of feminism in general due to their treatment of the trans movement and the way they bring down populist candidates like Bernie Sanders. For example, Bernie Sanders, during the democratic primary, was attacked for being a white male, he was accused of sexism by the Warren camp (even when he refuted those accusations) the anchors in charge of the debate signaled #BelieveAllWomen and assumed Elizabeth Warren was telling the truth because she's a woman, Sanders supporters were accused of sexism after describing Warren as a snake and sending snake emojis her way. The flip flopping of #Metoo feminist after the Joe Biden sexual assault allegations also added fuel to the fire and made many left wingers criticize feminist even more. In conclusion, I think the role feminism played during the democratic primary alienated many left wingers from the feminist movement. Do you guys agree? I'd like to hear your thoughts?
