At any given moment it's true. Nevertheless you're essentially just noticing what Darwin spotted so long ago: it's the male of the species who is tasked with the burden of wanting to generate the next cohort of people. And primarily the female who's tasked with direct caring for the kids. It's the male's job thereafter to prevent the kid from dying by hunting for animal vitamins and protein to supplement the seeds, leaves and roots that the mother forages. But yeah, because there's an unequal di…

Or reddit wouldn't be full of guys crying and dreaming of holding a hand. For every one of those guys there's a woman who's not getting a hand held.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/22 05:43 PM
1

But a lot of guys want to date someone in their own culture and I guess guys like that just have to get used to the fact that they are going to have to put us with low attraction and an excellent chance of divorce. Along with the fact that unlike third world women, their wives are statistically likely to get very fat after they marry in the west.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/22 07:39 PM

Exactly, it makes no sense for western men to make an effort to chase people like you. Instead of chasing your type they need to focus on less difficult to attract targets.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/22 07:33 PM
5

So you agree with the fact that it's irrational for western men to be chasing hard to satisfy ladies like you and to focus on the third world where women require less money to feel attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/22 07:32 PM

Why would a person from your first world country waste his time with you when he can attract someone twice as good looking as you from Bangladesh? And because his wealth will be so high in comparison to the Bangladeshi girl, she's going to be much more attracted to him than you are because it's likely that you earn roughly as much as him. It makes no logical sense for any western guy to waste time on you given the fact that your high western income means he needs to work 80 hour weeks just to ea…

Sorry dude, but the most you're gonna get is a lower class Asian woman with that tactic, and no, she won't be content with marrying you for love. She will want your money, bad, not just for herself, but for her siblings, relatives, parents, grandparents, everyone. But if you stay in her home country and convert to her religion and become active in her religious community, she'll be too ashamed to divorce rape you. But if you import her into the west she'll be more likely to divorce rape you. So …

My personal experience tells me that this is not always true. You're smarter than most girls
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/22 01:01 PM

Yeah but I want the smart one who made herself look good, not the moron who was born pretty.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/22 12:56 PM
3

There was a study posted here a while back that showed that men who made less money than their wives were more likely to cheat When you consider that becoming unemployed is so often the cause for a guy being divorced, you could argue that he's just getting started on a new relationship because he's about to be dumped soon statistically.

Do you believe that they are more likely to fall in love with poorer men?

Are women bad at detecting autism in others?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/22 01:13 PM
1

What are the chances an autistic guy will get a woman into bed? And anyhow, the woman will know he's autistic so she's gotta be stupid if she doesn't realize he might be a little clunky in the sheets.

The issue is that porn often portrays an over-the-top, badly acted presentation of ‘enthusiasm’ and inexperienced boys/men may not know the difference and then expect it in real life. Humans are pretty good at detecting enthusiasm.

Lots of stuff that people do for money is manipulation and it's pretty much designed to punish dumber people by making them poor. However it's legal and arguably beneficial to society. So just because I say it involves manipulation doesn't mean I think it's a bad thing on balance, within reason.

I think that the ones getting naked on camera knowing that this stuff leaks like crazy are probably so high in impulsivity that they're on the clinical end of the scale.

also, wym ”manipulate” lonely dudes lol. they’re not victims. in that case the porn industry making them pay for porn vids is also manipulation? Take advantage of a biological need to extract resources. Yes, porn videos do that. The question is what amount of harm we find allowable in exchange for the pleasure and apparent satisfaction and lowering of real world sexual violence of porn. But yes it involves manipulation and exploitation by definition, and the extraction of resources via the explo…

Men don't fawn over the physiques of 40-kilo-girls. Only gay fashion designers want that, and not for sex. LOL I used to drink at a bar in Latin America that did a good trade in American Johns. I was amazed by how much the tourists would reject the chubbier women, even though some of them were objectively the better fuck, according to customers after they rolled back. And yeah I sampled the wares on occasion after too much rum and the chunkies are a lot of fun. But yeah, there was a very extreme…

The psychiatrist said I was lucky my family were great, so it protected me from worse. They are supportive. They help me. OK so you had a decent family. One of my borderline exes had a dogshit family. Better not say any more if I don't want unwelcome attention. While people abused me, I had to change things because I was the one attracted to abusers, and I was attracting abusers. So you got raped outside of the family.

Going to turn the intensity up very high now. It's designed to make you uncomfortable and elicit information you'd rather suppress. Refusal to respond is perfectly acceptable. If so, the following question applies: Why?

There are things I won't accept anymore, so when I say "it's this or were breaking up", it's not a manipulation to have "this", it's a choice. That's using an ultimatum to obtain your goals. It's a one-sided tactic. Definitely the opposite of doing things as a couple. If a relationship can only proceed on the basis of one partner capitulating to the ultimatum of the other, that's unlikely to be a balanced partnership.

The problem is when women who are not particularly talented give up on child rearing and become a net drain on resources. Also if the two best examples of the thing you want are Iran and ISIS I would suggest you should maybe think harder about your desires. I don't want violent repression of anybody, but unfortunately the west has decided that freedom of choice is gone so violent repression is certainly a big part of the future. Many of the revolutionaries of 79 were non-religious guys who just wanted excitement and the opportunity to rape a bunch of women. I can foresee people desiring an Iran style government without the religious window dressing. In one stroke it eliminates male unemployment and significantly reduces male sexual dysphoria. The costs are borne by the women and their employers. There would be men who fight to preserve feminism at first. But if the other side is determined, it will just execute some of …

Well, in antifeminist revolutions, like in Iran in 1979, the warriors are happy to help people become martyrs. Defending your daughter with your body is a strong tactic but the fact is that if a group of men want to make a woman a corpse, they usually succeed. Isis' takeover in Iraq was pretty swift and resistance by women was very limited.

If I’m a woman why would I tolerate restrictions on my freedom in a world where robots do most of the work I guess because men would have become finally sick of the feminist bullshit and informed you that you don't have a choice. The industrial revolution happened. It was an interesting historical period. But it was always based on extremely cheap fuel. First coal, then petroleum. All the cheapass fuel is long gone. Without it, industrialization is going to shrink. As robots improve, industry doesn't require people. So the idea that we still need both sexes to be working doesn't seem to hold water. Demand for labor per capita is way down.

Equality is a worthwhile goal all by itself Only if you are not on the side which is receiving no benefits from equality. Does middle aged spinsterhood correlate well with alcoholism and diagnoses of mental illness? Yes. So while that remains true, those women who claim to be simultaneously long term single, sane and happy are statistically unlikely to all be telling the truth. The problem with men mocking spinsters is that the alternative is that men are forced to wife them up and provide for them. Uhh, they don't want to be wifed up or be provided for by an individual human. They want a large middle class salary and the correct social status. Failing that they want a generous stipend from the government for free. That's all. They are not interested in money coming from a man directly. They want the government to tax the man and give the money to the woman as a subsid…

The motivating power of sex is demonstrably lower in rich countries. Take a young horny man in Bolivia. If you give him enough money to go to a prostitute, he'll have sex with a prostitute. Because he's a horny guy in a poor country. In poor countries when a guy has an opportunity to have sex, he has sex. But go to a single guy in Japan and give him enough money for the same service and he'll spend it on a computer game or mangas but almost definitely will reject anything sexual. Even if you off…

The secret hint is that over 50% of women in employment are dead weight where the work of the firm is carried by the male staff and the women do occasional admin tasks that one of the guys would do for half the money. It can. Because there are people who still have kids. Sure, we'll see the change in race and ethnicity, but it isn't something entirely new. Why is it OK that all of Japan's dangerous jobs go to men? There has been a large decline in sex (actual penis in vagina fucking) in the entire western world. IIRC it take approximately 1000 fucks to create 1 pregnancy, so a collapse in the number of babies born is indeed a very good indicator. The people who live off the laborers do in fact need the laborers, but they don't have a financial relationship with them. men have no biological incentive to put a pause on sex the way women do, hence their sex drives would not be affected by pregnancy or fear thereof That's somewhat irrational and also untrue. This is also true of rich people in the ancient world. Ancient rulers used to try to pressure aristocrats to have more kids. They weren't using condoms. Super rich people have always been more likely to be childless than middle class people. It makes sense that if there's obvious signs of excessive food supply that libido would diminish to prevent a population explosion. It's a plausible survival mechanism. Too much food = have less sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/21 12:50 PM

You're focusing on minutiae instead of the headline result: colony collapse. We're both agreed that colony collapse was the outcome of the unlimited food experiment, right? I don't recall making any claims about aggressive versus beautiful mice.

Yes, if horny means "thoughts of sex with zero intention to have sex in real life" No, if horny means "intends to act on sexual impulses by having sex with another person". It's may be true that women get horner than men while masturbating. But in the sense of actually having sex with people outside a committed relationship, only one woman in ten thousand has the same level of baseline horniness as a normal man.

It's different. Women won't take a physical risk because of horniness, but men will. Women produce the big gametes, so women who take big risks to satisfy their sexual urges were punished by natural selection. Women who avoid risks and suppress their horny impulses were rewarded by natural selection. For men it's the opposite. Men who are careful and suppress their impulses are punished by natural selection. Men who gamble big and win big are heavily rewarded by natural selection, men who gamble…

Because someone deliberately filing a false report has the intent to harm someone else. The idea that a woman should sacrifice everything for the kids is very very common and accepted here. So Russian women are rhetorically committed to being good mothers in theory but refuse to actually be mothers or are selfish enough to condemn their kid to growing up without siblings. So if Russian women are like you say they are, then I don't see the point in saying they're not effectively identical to feminists, because like any Western woke twit, she's not having kids.

Her entire life is full of sacrifices in name of “family” and “kids”. Does she self-sacrifice for real or is that just normal Cluster B "woe is me" talk? Obviously if the woman has Cluster B, she's fucked and her kids are fucked. My OP is only relevant to women who have not yet developed a personality disorder.

That’s not been my experience with my friends who had distant and cold fathers. All three have zero relationships with their fathers and one is actually in therapy because of her childhood with him. Now look at how much shittier the lives of the girls who grew up fatherless in the same town are.

To be the best father, men have to be fucking miserable too. If you have the support of a self-sacrificing woman, it's not misery, it's the satisfaction of doing something hard and succeeding. It's only miserable for the dad when the mother refuses to put her kids before herself. When she does that, the family is doomed to mental illness and failed relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/21 12:31 PM

But what about the so called 'Daddy-Issues'? Are those the mothers fault too? Whatever "Daddy issues" actually are, and if they are measurable, the question is "do daughters of intact families have less so-called daddy issues than daughters of lone mothers?" If the answer is yes, how is that not at least somewhat attributable to the mother's decision to raise fatherless kids?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/21 12:15 PM

The data shows that even if the father is distant, harsh and hardly ever talks to the kids, the kids become massively more happy and successful than almost all children raised by a lone mother. Like I said: ugly truth. Nature is sexist and punishes selfish mothering by making kids develop severe mental illness if the mother departs from correct mothering. But children are massively resilient to bad fathering. They seem to tolerate almost anything, as long as the father is physically present for …

Parents who sacrifice everything for children are usually unhappy and often live not own life but the life of their children. That's unhealthy and we know many stories when mothers are too involved in her children romantic relationship or marriage which cause a disaster. Mother should have her own interests and her own life apart from kids Obviously things will turn to shit if you go to extremes.

Contraception is irrelevant to the phenomenon. The problem with feminism is that it breaks the element of self-sacrifice that is at the heart of acceptable mothering. they'll be allowed to learn is how to recite the Qur'an! That's not an education in the 21st century! I read how in Pakistan they learn the Quran in old Arabic but they don't study the language so it's like a Catholic who's just memorized a bunch of Latin but he can't actually speak Latin and needs to depend on someone else to understand the words. That's the most powerful guy, because he decides what Islam is to the student. The student is helpless to know if he's being guided well or not.

When I was a minor I'd have been all over that. I think that if a girl of 13 is raped it's always going to traumatize her. I think maybe it's possible that some boys will be traumatized and some won't. Besides, why are you getting your panties in a bunch about the fact that some boys who had underage sex seem not to have any indicia of trauma? As you point out, it's irrelevant. Underage sex is illegal regardless of whether trauma exists or not. I think the existence of trauma is an important fac…

This appears to be a thought crime. How is it possible to decide if a person killed someone else because she was female. That's the thing: do gay men not kill their husbands too? Do lesbians in Honduras not beat and presumably shoot their wives as often as lesbians in the rest of the world, who often beat each other terribly? Presumably lesbians are automatically guilty of femicide if they kill their wife: being lesbian means that you are with your wife specifically because of her condition as a…

They exist. All societies need to maintain family support to children, even if it's one-parent families like the west. In the west we have enormous stacks of money to give to mothers. In Yemen they don't. So if a family breaks down all the kids die. So to prevent the deaths of kids, they follow a system of taboos that broadly have the effect of keeping the family together until the kids are able to survive. Only a very wealthy society can afford the western strategy of paying mothers directly. Y…

I think that the problem is that feminism in the west tends to deny that patriarchy was wiped out in the 1950s by law and by the 1990s the culture had fully accepted that the old patriarchal system was over.

A system of social hierarchy set up by men for the benefit of men at the expense of women has never existed. Technically, a patriarchy MIGHT have existed, but it's not enough to exist, you have to reproduce and thrive. A patriarchy would probably cause most women to commit suicide or just be so miserable that the society just dies. The only societies that survive is a society that keeps women safe enough to reproduce. A patriarchy that just bleeds women would fail to make it to a third generatio…

I wouldn’t generalize it as simply being just feminism in 2021; it’s definitely still just extremist feminism, but it’s hella unfortunate that extremism is more common than regular feminism presently The issue is that it's the extreme ones who get into positions of power where they do things that the ordinary non-activists would never agree to.

Which roughly coincides with the era of extreme affluence which is now on a path to revert to the mean. Edit: Forming a stable relationship by age 25 suggests that they might move from dating to marriage by age 29. Is that really an early marriage? Not by any vaguely historical standard.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/21 08:56 AM

I know that when you looked at the subreddit user overlap before the female incels were temp-banned, FDS was swarming with WGTOW and femcels. Remember that WGTOW are defined by not dating. So you know how the feminists used to say that the red pill was unrelated to dating strategy and was principally about misogyny? Works on the other side too.

It's a very common euphemism. Anyway I am probably thousands of miles away from you so if anyone is going to rape you it's not going to be me. And even if I was next door it wouldn't be any different. Do you think I am a gang?

/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/21 07:45 PM

Women should take the lead in choosing men. If approach is left to men only, she‘s always going to meet the most aggressive guy in the crowd. That's going to happen by attrition. Passive women will very slowly be bred out of existence over the coming centuries.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/21 07:42 PM

If women do what you suggest, it will not benefit them directly. It will benefit their daughters and granddaughters, but not them. Ergo, never going to happen. Also true for any similar changes men might make.

where people can opt out and lead the lives they want to at any moment. The fact that it's completely acceptable for a husband to bail on his wife and kids, become a woman and start dating teens is one example of how "it's so easy to abandon everything" makes a dystopia. Our society makes it maximally easy to opt out of human relationships but impossible to get rid of student loans. That's why it's miserable. Turns out there's a reason why patriarchies didn't encourage divorce.

Genetic drift is one explanation. The ability to form relationships may be heritable. Or it may be vulnerable to genetics drift. Well I do believe that women are the bottleneck for reproduction, because that's what Darwin says and nobody's been able to overturn his claim yet. Most human males have sufficient sperm to impregnate the whole human race. So if 99% of males become asexual, we can still rely on the 1% to ensure there's a next generation. but more like "be the best version of yourself". It should be "be better". But that's inevitably going to trigger a long list of questions so you avoid saying that. Be yourself is stupid advice. "Give up or start to self-improve right now" is the only objectively good advice for most.

If you're ugly and boring, tough shit, accept solitude You're forgetting that most people believe themselves to be ugly and boring so are in fact very forgiving in the abstract.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 01:56 PM

No. Most neurotypicals who are single against their will for extended periods should clearly avoid being themselves. Themselves are exactly where the problem lies. If you need to date and you are single you must improve in all the relevant areas where you have room to improve. Looks, hygiene, personality, income.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 01:53 PM

None of this however means you’re treating women differently from an object I can imagine many men just cast their toy aside or just run it under the faucet. Most women receive significantly better attention after a one night stand, if you are being honest. It's an extremely hyperbolic way to describe what most men do. About 2% of men are severely depraved and will do horrible things. This 2% must be sharply delineated from the 98%.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 01:48 PM

I can still see you as a human that I only want to have sex with and don’t want anything to do with other than that Like really? Like you wouldn't say hello if you met in the street? That's cold, man. Unless she did something insanely bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 01:33 PM

Nobody who reads this is going to take you seriously again. Who on PPD deserves to be taken seriously? The point of the OP is that the expression is a wild exaggeration, a tremendous overstatement of how dehumanizing it is to have a consensual one night stand. It's not exactly hard to fathom. The figure of speech is such a gross exaggeration that the speaker can be assumed to be misandrist. This conclusion should then cast suspicion on the speakers other thoughts on dating strategy.

That's not an answer to my question. If I go bald and my GF says "no wig, no nookie" I can work with that. Especially since I get to make demands too. I'll wear the wig if she wears the clown shoes.

how it is similar or dissimilar to other men. Do you get turned on by sexy body parts, or does a human being need to be connected? Seems to me a majority of guys see women as people 24/7 without any exceptions

Again you have to justify the claim that a man wants "just he vagina" If you bought a vagina from a medical cadaver company I think more than 90% of men will refuse to fuck it. Yet you imply that a normal man would fuck a chunk of a human corpse, if it includes the vagina.

But I can still just look at women and see them as sexy body parts first and people second. Gross. I'm also a guy and you could be describing some creature from Babylon 5. I see all women as humans at all times. So do 99% of men. You should get tested.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/21 12:31 PM

Well, women are better at getting themselves off So really the issue is with women rather than guys. Many guys who use fleshlights will have sex with a woman given the opportunity but it's more common for women's sole sex partner to be a robot and to reject 100% of human suitors.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/21 12:29 PM

Proof required. You assert that there's a specific order of perception. How do you know?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/21 12:25 PM

The point is: exactly how much humanity are you expecting to get from a woman you just want to have sex with once and never see again? Whatever the difference is between a woman and a fleshlight, that's how much humanity.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/21 12:20 PM

If that were the case then men who exclusively have sex with fleshlights would be seen as the sexual equals of men who have sex with many enthusiastic women. Is that how it is in your town?

There's no other place with such growth potential. If you can get Africa to the point where it's GDP per capita is 25% of the US figure, that assumes amazing nosebleed levels of growth, sustained for decades, potentially. You can expect more and more manufacturing to be offshored to Africa, because they have an enormous population living on $4 a day or less. Economics is the source of the gulf between the cultures of Brazil and Italian-speaking Switzerland. Swiss-Italians and Brazilians can understand each other's language very well. But their mindset is different. A Swiss Italian may often forget to lock his doors when he goes on vacation. He will sometimes leave expensive possessions out of view. His whole attitude to the necessities of life will be immensely different than the man who grew up in the grinding poverty of Brazil.

Western means first world. If you can drink the water from the faucet, it's the west. Third world existence where the middle class makes less than a thousand dollars a month creates a culture that is utterly unlike the culture of an advanced capitalist nation where being middle class requires four thousand dollars a month. The cultures of places so divided by economics are always massively divergent from the rich west. If you want to create a section call "western third world" that's ok.

But an unfalsifiable claim is not even wrong. That's a very important point. If a claim is unfalsifiable it makes no sense to say it's "wrong" or "right". It's neither.
/r/AntiFeminists05/07/21 01:20 PM

That's the angle where all Woke ideology breaks down. It's unfalsifiable. But it's a truth claim. Big problem. We should be making them look like fool but almost none of them fight them on the ground of falsifiability. It's the Achilles heel of Wokism.
/r/AntiFeminists05/07/21 12:50 PM

That's also a good critique. We should forensically interrogate the use of the term. When I say the phrase "falsifiable hypothesis" do I make any sense to you?

There's a huge amount of nuance around the power of the slur, and how it's a motte and bailey but we generally don't discuss that stuff too rigorously The real problem is that the intent and the effect is to create an automatic negative association with the word "masculinity". They false defense the misandrists use is to say "it's simply saying that some forms of male behavior are toxic" Well of course, by that logic you could and should speak of "toxic blackness" because just as there are forms…

A good example is how Jordan Peterson took apart Cathy Newman with facts and the appearance of great calm. That's rare. You rarely see a thread on what the serious objections are to toxic masculinity that really hits upon an important intellectual insight. They're bad claims but they're complicated to prove how they're bad. It takes more work than many of us realize.

There's a lot more women willing to kiss a mouth than a vag. Lesbians don't actually like when a girl throws up at the smell of vagina. You probably want to have a lover with limited options, usually. A bisexual woman only increases her number of potential long term lovers by a small fraction. She has greatly increased her number of potential one night stands. But that's irrelevant because she already has plenty of options for casual sex and is probably completely uninterested. So the upside of …

There's also women like me who are technically single (unmarried, not dating) but have FWB or even a consistent fuck buddy Only a minority of women can function well in a fuckbuddy relationship. Most women are extremely uncomfortable being in a relationship that doesn't have a level of public committment. It's great for women who have the right mindset for a fuckbuddy relationship but for most women it's like having access to discount meth: a privilege not worth having.

There's actually less than you would think. Only about 32% of women ages 18-29 are single, vs 51% of men of the same age range. Women Almost 2 out of every 7 non-single women are being cucked, if you read those figures correctly. (Of course some young women will be dating older men). A lot of those women who claim to be in a relationship must be side pieces. I wonder how many of them know.

There's no reason to resent women just because while young they have advantages over men in the dating arena. Resenting people for this reason is mental illness. But if a person is trying to gaslight you, trying to pretend that there are no differences, it's fair to resent that person because he's giving you bad information. Differences exist and it's silly to get your panties in a bunch about it. But it's also dishonest to pretend that there are no differences.

Any biologist who says sex is a spectrum is essentially proposing social constructionism. There's a few chromosomal abnormalities that can produce a living human, but it's a discrete number (eighteen, I think). Eighteen variants is not a spectrum. It's a set of eighteen specific types. That's very distinct from a spectrum. If you have eighteen friends, you don't have a spectrum of friends. A spectrum has infinite points. A set has a finite number of points.

It's an extremely deep thing in natural selection: ancient tribes that punished women very harshly probably suffered serious penalties in infant mortality. If a tribe hangs a woman for stealing, that is several children who might have been assets to the tribe lost. This was human reality for millions of years. It's n…
