Specifically I'm talking about interviews with the children who were minors at the time of the divorce and are now adults.

Some of them will confirm the claims of abuse, some won't. It will be extremely informative to know how statistically likely each outcome is.

Specifically, I'm expecting that this will establish a baseline for how many spouses have deployed a false accusation. I'm assuming that in the majority of true accusations, the adult child will corroborate the accusations and we can classify those accusations as probably true.

I think that it's not too much of an inductive leap to guess that women who lie in court about pederasty will also lie about being victims of sexual assault.

Ergo we will then have a rule of thumb to indicate broadly how many women would be expected to make false rape accusations per year per 100,000 population.

Then we'll be able to arrive at a decent estimate for how many rape accusations are false. It's really important that we get our measurements as accurate as possible because without a doubt, in any situation where there is an accusation of rape, one of the parties is doing something horribly morally wrong. If innocent men or women who are victims of genuinely cunning assailants who are able to evade responsibility are falling through the cracks it's our responsibility to find out.
