I know I asked this previously (and I feel a lot of people didn't notice this), but what are the good things men have done and fought for women?

We had this 2 days ago. I will reinstate. According to some patriarchy people men are responsible for the current system. As such men are blamed for the bad things to women, but are then also responsible for all of the good things. Go for voting rights, life standards, civil liberties etcetera. Plenty of women also who never had to work a day in their life because their husband provided for them.

If we go back in time then millions of men have died fighting to protect the freedom of their wives daughters, and women in general.

But I consider these discussions "what has X ever done for Y" rather meaningless. We can ask the reverse question and get similar silly answers.

Men build civilization and women exist in it. Men have built a civilization where men's surplus labor is taxed and handed to the government and subsequently redistributed to women which has fundamentally broken the social contract betwern the genders.

Before big government, if a woman wanted a man's resources, she would have to trade with him by convincing him that she would be a good wife. She had to cultivate her domestic skills, a pleasant personality and put effort into appearance, etc. She would become his wife in exchange for his resources, protection and provisioning.

Now that women can marry the state, women can get the men's resources in exchange for nothing. They can be useless as wives, develop vile and toxic personalities and completely let themselves go yet they will still be able to freely gobble up men's taxes via being the gender which consumes the vast majority of social services, healthcare spending and pension payouts.

Two years after we had universal suffrage for men in the Netherlands (1917), we had it for women (1919). So we can conclude it was one of the first decisions the male population took.
