I’ve seen it pointed out that the phenomenon we call “creep shaming” may be ineffective in getting our arguments across, given the highly negative connotations of “creep”.
Perhaps we should come up with an alternate way of talking about it? My proposed term is “asocial shaming”, because that’s essentially what we mean: shaming men and assuming them to be predatory for not conforming to arbitrary, sometimes confusing social norms.
Any thoughts or alternate suggestions?
