Let’s see men make 185/191 women made 101/238. Men made essentially one mil per game while women made .425 mil per game. This is utter BS.

I think this is a situation where the Women's National Team are higher in the rankings than their male counterparts, and also probably more popular.

It would be how Conor McGregor has more money than Francis Ngannou even though Francis would beat him in a straight fight (different weight classes).

Edit: reading the article it appears I was wrong and the male team draws more revenue. Apparently it's due to the CBA bargaining agreements which probably should have been negotiated better. Choosing a higher salary over match/win bonuses when you aren't a very strong team is probably the smarter move

Can somebody explain why there is a lawsuit if the pay structures are a result of separate collective bargaining agreements? Shouldn't that an issue among the players themselves/bargaining representatives rather than a legal dispute?

This is a misleading article and a misleading title. Men get paid more per game and more per win. It's just that the womens team has played a lot more games so they have been paid more.

If I get paid $50/hr and only work 20 hrs a week, while you get paid $15/hr and work 80 hours a week, is it really to trumpt that as a headline 'proving' that you earn more than me?

And why is that a banner headline for this sub? How is discussing this part of advocating for left wing males?
