The "gender pay gap" doesn't actually mean men are paid more for the same job, it just means basically there are more men working than women and more men in higher paid jobs (jobs that tend to have higher risks which are often rejected by women).

Fun fact- Sweden (one of the most feminist countries in the world) has a feminist political party who actually said if they were voted in they would introduce a "man tax". ie an actual literal tax men would have to pay just for being men.

That's a shame, it was a good opportunity for a male to go in, refuse to pay and see how they'd propose to enforce an unenforceable tax, or if they'd push the matter to court.
