In my personal opinion the best thing you can do is present yourself and act in the manner that would attract the kind of man that you want. Be confident about your wants/needs and gracefully reject any man who does not wish to commit. If you present yourself in accordance to the kind of man you want then you're maximizing the chance of being approached by that type of person. And if it doesn't happen this year, or next year, consider if you would rather start hooking up than to be single until you find the right man, however much the wait will take.

Dating apps can work as well, think of how you can put together a profile that says " I'm not a stuck up, I am fun and approachable, but I want commitment". It's pretty vague but for me it worked, I attracted a lot of guys who had the same kind of relationship priorities as me. Admittedly I don't know how much harder it would be to find someone who can abstain from sex until marriage, unless they're very religious. My personal value is that I won't sleep with anyone outside of a relationship, but you have to be wise how you vet your man for that to work.

And lastly, don't lose hope, seriously. There are plenty of guys who come from healthy family backgrounds who appreciate women and want to build a beautiful family unit.

I found my boyfriend at my job at a bar. We were both in high-school and kissed at a party. We only kissed (for a good while!) I told him I didn't want us to just have a one time thing at a party, and that I would like to see him again. He invited me on a date a few days later, where we got coffee and split the bill. I think I was very fortunate to find a wonderful guy who was not interested in hooking up - He partied almost every weekend in high school, but he hadnt been with anyone else before me.

Your university is the best place to find someone like minded, as you both go to school, aspire to build a life, have some of the same values etc. It's the best place to find a potential partner judging from what I've heard from different RP podcasts. A job, or a place where you volunteer is also great. Some of the guys from my uni (in the biggest city in my country) seems to be actively looking for a relationship through dating apps, but tell me they're quite disappointed actually. My guy friends have never been dismissive about the idea of having a girlfriend, but the ones who are studying something that requires a lot of time and effort are not actively looking, but focusing on their studies. I do believe most of the guys I've had in my social circle never expressed they didn't want a girlfriend, but also never said they didn't want to participate in the hook-up culture. It seems they just do whatever suits them right now, and if they haven't met a wonderful girl yet, why stop hooking up? Many of my female classmates have boyfriends, so the men are definitely out there, it's just about meeting them.

Run 😂... Pretty impossible. Tbh, guys are sometimes even offended by, well, self respect.

Even if guys claim to have better values they are to deep down in it.

I have given up on the idea of finding a scandinavian man.
