I'm currently dating a woman who is really very fond of me. She constantly messages first, always tags me on Facebook in various things, talks endlessly about how she wants to smother me with kisses and fuck me. She's really enthusiastic about me, but it does suffocate me occasionally.

I've been rereading the 48 Laws and came across Law 16 again, and the story of Guillaume and Guillelma. Something I noted was that as soon as Guillaume had dropped contact, Guillelma freaked out and increased investment, as was expected. Manson talks about how a man's low investment is key to a woman's attraction to him.

Is is therefore possibly a good idea to lower my girl's suffocatingly ever present enthusiasm by feigning an increase in investment, slightly lowering my perceived SMV indirectly, and lightening the load as a result? Or is a direct command to her a better idea?

The only reason I even bring up the notion of feigning a more beta frame is because this girl is my girlfriend; having a completely aloof alpha frame in a relationship, as we know, is good, but secondary to allowing some beta vulnerability in, due to the much higher mutual emotional investment.
