No, you didn’t. Infact, I think you cut him off too late. The delayed response times are absolutely not okay at all. You are not his toy that he can text whenever he’s bored or has nothing better to do. If he truly valued you and your time, he would not be keeping you waiting for half assed delayed responses.

Someone could have died and he could be processing it. He could have met someone else and is keeping you on the back burner. The problem is you have no idea. That is his fault not yours. I think for your sanitary it was best to cut him off. If he creates a communication structure with you, he needs to maintain it. Trust your gut. Even if someone died, maybe your gut is still telling you no.
