As someone who's knew to this community, how can I actually do something to fight the discrimination against men? What are the best organizations and websites you guys recommend?

The ONLY way something gets attention in the media and the legal system, is if it affects women negatively.

Just look at the headlines.

"20 women killed by Taliban in village." What about the 400 men killed?

When that bomb killed, what? 11 marines? Who got the media attention? The two women. The men were a side note. The two women were a tragedy.

"Out of 4 homeless, 1 is a woman." Oh? So homelessness is now becoming a problem when 25% of the homeless are women.

"We need more women in STEM!" If you look at ALL sub-fields that are covered by STEM, such as biologist and medical doctors, or actually turns out that there are more women in STEM than men. What they really mean is that they want more women in the high paying STEM fields.

It's the same with finance and CEO's. "More women!" But where are they supposed to come from? I've taken economic courses at university level. Only a handful of the students were women. Are these female CEO's supposed to come from Gender Studies?

The dating market is incredibly unfair today. Since the early 2000's when online dating started to emerge, women have been able to date all the hot guys they want in their 20's, and then fully expect a guy who is husband material to date and woo her the traditional way when she's ready to settle down and start a family. This is starting to get attention in the media. Why? Because it is unfair to the 80% of men who are invisible in their 20's? Because all this guys feel unwanted and unloved? Oh no! No no no! Because an increasing number of men say "no thanks" and opt out, which means that the number of single, childless women in their 30's is steadily rising. THAT'S why it's suddenly a problem worth looking into.

But DO they actually look into it? Also no! They interview a bunch of these women who have spent their 20's ignoring most guys while they were busy dating one hot guy andet another. And why waste time on interviewing some of these husband material bachelors when the conclusion is obvious: The fault lies with the men! They live like big children, spend time on their hobbies and friends, unwilling to commit and settle down. Which is partly true. But these female journalists never ask the question WHY don't these men want to commit and settle down? But that won't happen anytime soon. It's bad enough that the problem gets attention - because it affects women - but not bad enough to start asking whether women are somehow contributing to the problem.

The governments are even taking notice, because the birth rate is getting alarmingly low. But note how, when they actually do make a campaign, the message is always "Men! Do your duty and marry a woman to make some children"! They never ever make a campaign targeted towards women, saying "Women! Please start acting in a way that makes men WANT to marry you!"

The problem is very serious in Japan right now. The men called Herbivore Men were a curiosity in the beginning. Now they mean that the country has a population "growth" of -0.2% per year. "That doesn't sound serious!" No, but it is. Because with a population of 126 million it means that there are some 250k fewer Japanese each year. And these are the new, young people who are supposed to take jobs and get things done and contribute to the economy and care for the older citizens. In most first world countries, the birth rate needs to be 2.1 babies per woman to keep the population as-is. The Japanese birth rate is 1.42. Again, did this get attention because men were working themselves to death, never seeing their families? No. It gets attention because it's starting to affect women and they are losing future tax payers.

Is the same story in a lot of other countries. I read that if something isn't done, by year 2100 the population of Spain will be half of what it is today.

So what should you do? Well, just like with companies, it's rare to get significant changes for the workers without them going on strike. But it will take a generation or two before the effects of a man strike gets bad enough for significant change to get done. I was lucky enough to meet my wife in the early 2000's right before online dating became a thing, but I can see how it affects my younger male coworkers. And I worry what a total shitshow it will be when my two sons get to the dating age.

I'm not saying never get married or get into a relationship. That would be hypocrisy coming from me. But do be very careful in who you chose. There are worse fates that never having had a girlfriend or getting married. In fact, getting married holds absolutely no benefits for men these days. She cheated cheated with 12 men? None of the children are yours? You paid her college debt and for the house and the cars abs everything else? Doesn't matter. She still gets at least half of everything and you still get to pay her alimony and child support for some other guy's children. Yay marriage! To be honest, if I had been wiser back then, I would never have proposed. Every safety that marriage offers my wife could have been done with a will and naming her in my insurance policy. What marriage has given her is the ability to screw me over and get rewarded for it.

If my sons chose to opt out, I'll be sad for never having grandchildren. But I would understand why they chose so.

I'd say to be active in small ways wherever you can and call out sexist unequal behaviour towards men from women.

This highlights the hidden reality feminists dont want society to realise-that men do NOT actually have easier lives, that they actually face much of the same treatment from women that feminists accuse men of causing.

Use templates on the web to write letters to your local politician, requesting they act to put a stop to unequal treatment. File complaints against teachers, police or co-workers/bosses who treat men unfairly. Wherever possible, use recording devices to get, and KEEP proof of interactions.

Best of all-start your own LOCAL Mens Rights group, in person, face to face (or using zoom or alternatives if covid rules dont allow it), but it must be face to face. Too little is getting done in these anonymous subs where people often post randomly to simply blow off steam. We need more interaction at a basic level, more building, more sharing of ideas, more brainstorming of ways forward.

So you would be ideally placed to meet and find more like minded people, and the more local you are, the more power it gives you to organise small protests, which you can in advance alert your local media outlets to. If funds are needed, make and sell tshirts with mens rights slogans on them.

Start from there and see where it goes, perhaps meeting once weekly for an hour. Even if its just you and one other person for a month, keep at it, grow it, put up posters requesting males interested in equality for men to get in touch. Careful how you word it to avoid trolls. Every successful group starts with one person. Use your passion and your beliefs to fuel you and remind yourself how much it matters to you that men get fair and reasonable treatment instead of the discrimination and smearing they currently face at all steps of their lives.

I think what you can do is try and educate your fellow men that are near you like family and friends of whats going on and then all of you work to help each other. Form a community basically.
