Depends on the situation.

If it’s still early on, she’s seeing how easy you are, whether you have options, basically testing frame (or she’s desperate)

Otherwise if it’s been a while, i’d say a month+, it’s genuine desire.

Also depends how she tells you. If you’ve been around enough women you’ll know her true intentions

Unless you’re autistic it would be extremely easy to tell based on her tone and body language in that moment, and how she has behaved up to that point in time.

She can initiate the question whenever she wants, it doesn’t matter .. what matters is that you control the outcome; wether to acquiesce to her demand or not.

It is definitely taking the frame.

She is tying you down and only afterwards will consider if she actually wants to go through with it.

Women like to test men for how much commitment they are willing to give, so they can then shape the relationship as they see fit.

Best to offer as little as possible for as long as possible if you want to minimise drama.

I do that and when the conversation comes they say "I can accept you sleeping with other women and not living with me, as long as you treat me as your girlfriend when we are together."
