While I do understand why feminism is focused on women's problems and this doesn't neccesarily mean that it's main objective isn't equality, modern feminism has been taken over by the more "radical" feminists who believe in female supremacy and wish for men's downfall. Feminists has done great things throughout history but because of social media, feminism nowadays has "lost it's way". Now I do believe many feminists still fight for equality, the recent popularity of men-hating "feminist" groups has made the movement shameful and made thousands of years of actual change be completely forgotten with the barbarities to which feminism extends to now. I do not consider myself a feminist because I don't feel like today's feminism is inclusive or that it fights for an equal world for both genders, and it's more like feminism is trying to get "revenge" for past years of oppression. On the same note, I do support all equlitarian movements and do believe a better, equal world can be achieved with the right tools and representation. Sorry if this is hard to follow, English is my second language.
