I personally feel like that the red pill and it’s ‘philosophy’ of examining the world from a critical, analytical, and sociological historical perspective is what drew me into it. Like many others I fell down the red pill rabbit hole through political discourse in 2016, which I would consider the height of social movements.

However, as I grow older a lot of the red pill communities, channels, and figureheads rub me the wrong way. A lot of their rhetoric is dogmatic and hyperbolic. I’ve been taking into account what is often referred to as the Manosphere of Youtube influencers who borrow a lot of argument points from red pill philosophy and chuck it at young and/or impressionable boys and men.

One in particular has been Fresh and Fit. A manosphere duo based out in Miami, Florida who does the typical spiel about dating, marriage statistics, western culture, and over generalizations. These two gentlemen, particularly Amrou (Myron) are extremely one-sided. The women that they bring on their show are generally of a particular type and character. Most aren’t well versed in debate nor are they well equipped to defend themselves from the onslaught of Myron’s rants.

I don’t think all red pill manosphere youtubers are bad but these two in particular (specifically their content and agenda they push) is disingenuous.

Myron just regurgitates the same argument points and analogies to unsuspecting women in order to ‘school them’ on the ‘realities of life’. He is extremely rude and emotionally immature. He has no tact and lack social sensibility when tensions rise. He appeals to a young (as in mentality) audience who get off on devaluing women. To me, this isn’t telling of a high value man who commands respect from women just by being rather than by asserting.

Fresh is peculiar, awkward, and corny. I personally like Fresh more because he seems like the guy who is just trying to get in where he can. This means he is an opportunist when it comes to women and leverages whatever sense of style of wealth and connections he has to build situationships with women. This is very telling of his vlogs. This is quite normal but can become weird if done in a predatory way. Overall, he just seems like a regular corny guy who just got successful.

And Chris is fucking weird and a creep.

I am not part of the red pill. I feel like all of these pill philosophies are categorical and their communities limit dynamic thinking which is not how a person is suppose to be.
