The point I’ve seen feminists make is “at least men aren’t conditioned to be afraid alone at night”, like somehow being more afraid when walking alone is worse than actually being the victim of a violent crime.

I’ve been attacked and harassed in a variety of cities (Detroit, Ann Arbor, Tokyo, Venice, etc.). Cat called, expletives, aggressive pan handling and even mugged (London and Atlanta). Why EDC and martial art clubs are so popular. The thing is for men, no one is coming to help us, so we make do. Hell, I’ve even had slurs thrown at me on military bases but that’s a bully culture thing.
