Q1. For those of you who were somewhat social inept before TRP how long did it take you to become more fluid/organic/natural when it comes to socializations. I've been practicing for a few months growing my social circle and attempting to engage in more conversation, but I'm seeing little improvement (I'll keep at it)

Q2. How does one learn to enjoy socializing? I've found that I have to fake my way through a few social situations (put on a fake persona if you will), and it's also very mentally exhausting if I manage to keep the conversation going. I'm assuming the enjoyment of socializing comes when you get pretty decent at it?

And by fake persona I mean:

  • Laugh at jokes I don't find funny/or don't get

  • Pretend to be interested in what someone is saying

  • Essentially act as if I'm excited/sad/happy/etc when I'm actually apathetic towards what someone or some people have said.

  • Not talk about anything I'm interested in since I do have nerdy interests (I learned at an early age to keep this kind of stuff to yourself, especially with women)

I've learned that social aptitude is important with life and especially with women if you want to get laid (and I want to get the monkey off my back if you know what I mean).
