China and its leaders will suppress any information that makes them look bad on the world theater. Whether true or not, Peng Shuai's accusation was going to have the response we've seen, as everyone critical of Jinping and China has had poor outcomes from their actions. It doesn't matter that it's a woman accusing an ex-premier of sexual misconduct, she could have accused him of being a drug dealer and the same thing would have happened to her. Your argument is invalid, Arwa Mahdawi.
