CMV: People who say « romantic attraction =\= sexual attraction » are abusers

I think it's just acknowledging that there are asexual people, aromantic people, and people who enjoy sex outside of relationships aka hookups.

It's not like you absolutely have to want sex with someone you're romantically attracted to...but it's fine if you do.

Likewise, you don't absolutely have to want a romantic relationship with someone you're sexually attracted to...but once again, it's fine if you do.

So long as both people are on the same page and no lies or manipulation is going on, there really isn't a problem with it. If it is harming nobody, don't sweat it.

Y’all Just love to throw the word abuse around don’t ya. You can be sexually attracted to someone with no romantic feelings involved. Or I know people that are ace and don’t feel sexual attraction to anyone but they can fall in love. You’re just pissed because you’re lonely.

I think it's a oversimplification of sexuality. I can have sex without deeply rooted feelings for a person and not being taking advantage of something.
