It is not do simple.

Narrative is, that men should be strong, brave, self-suffucent etc, right?

And definitely should be able to stand for himself. By any needed means.

So, if man is abused/humiliated he is seen as weak, and, therefore unfit. Wich makes people laugh.

Why that happens? I belive that is an ingrained trait. I was reading a huge opus on prymathology once, and they were discussing baboons. Baboons are strictly hierarchic primates. They are not our direct relatives, unlike big apes, but have surprisingly huge numbers of common traits in social behavior with humans. Parallel evolution I suppose.

So. When some of the higher ranking males is punished by alpha or betas for something, whole pack comes to shout on him, mock him and display agression. The biggest offenders are those of even lower rank that has been punished.

I suppose the same goes for humans. Notice, how most undeveloped, poor and otherwise miserable layers of society become wery agitated, when someone of higher rank gets some shit. And how much less often those, who have decent position in society, engage in such activities.

They do not need to boost their egos by such petty things.

And also, note, that as soon as humiliated male repells the attacker, laughter and mockery suddenly stop. Like if cut by a metaphorical knife.

So, you are right about not tolerating this shit is the best remedy. People, deep down are social anxious, vindictive monkeys, such is their nature. Nature could be exploited. Both ways.

Thats a long way of saying very little.

Now for something relevant.

Yes, our feminised society sees no problem in humiliating, degrading, insulting, belittling men, and treating it as 'funny'.

Yet they are quick to whine and complain when even a fraction of it happens to a female-or even a fictional female character.

Video got removed for graphic and violent content. If possible, can you summarize?
who posted and when it was posted?. Please.

[–]Aedrian87 19 points20 points21 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Reported as violent or repulsive content on YT. That stuff is both violent and repulsive.

[–]DoctorCodezZ 13 points14 points15 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And it's been removed, so there's that.

[–]program_mer 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

we need to be proactive in stopping these things

Just a thought, but it is possibly because of this ridiculous idea that men are the oppressor/ruling class. So to mock and berate them etc. is "punching up" same with white people. Much like how everyone loves to mock politicians or celebrities and get no real backlash. Mocking them is like "taking them down a peg or two" and all in good fun seeing as how they are on their high horses. While mocking and berating say, disabled homeless trans women would be seen as just plain mean and cruel because that is "punching down" and contributing to the marginalization and oppression of said people.

" ... this ridiculous idea that men are the oppressor/ruling class" ever since the start of Patriarchy some 12,000 years ago men have oppressed women with all kinds of laws and regulations. Also some high-ranking men have oppressed other men: Capitalism. Individual women have oppressed individual men on a personal level, but not like men have oppressed the female sex .....

[–]Bosilaify 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

What about present-day though

[+]SiteTall -12 points-11 points-10 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yes, what do you see as the (world wide) situation right now?

[–]Bosilaify 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I think an idea similar to the patriarchy is perpetuated because society views the top 1% of men as the basis for men, while in actuality the 99% is more homeless, more likely to commit suicide, more likely to die working, more likely to be murdered or robbed, more likely to be killed in wars, less likely to graduate college or go to college (and declining). When you look at the top 1% it seems like men run the world but in reality, we are the cogs.

[–]SiteTall -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not on world basis, then you still are the oppressors

[–]Starship_Captain01 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Video has been removed. Got it somewhere else?

[–]TheSnesLord 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's clear as daylight now that supposed oppressed (women) have become the oppressors themselves. And that's in society, politics, education, law and more. Not only are people/politicians not allowed to advocate for laws that could possibly offer 0.01% benefit to men, but people are also not allowed to even criticise feminist-advocated laws which are clearly biased and unfair against men.

This planet needs a Fist of the North Star style apocalypse so we can start all over again.

I always wonder if this is actually some kind of inherited bias that humans have, I don’t understand why those abuses towards males are funny when they’re never suppose to.

[–]SwiftKick85 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I wanted to highlight two videos here. Maybe we can get some insight and debate regarding it:

Part One

Part Two

I think both videos make interesting points and they go beyond just violence against men but that there are other forces that traverse this issue.

Opinions?

[–]Starship_Captain01 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ok well, the first video the guy says that we should treat survivors with more dignity, etc.. but actually, lots of rape done to men isn't reported.. and how would we stop the jokes about rape, aimed towards men, from being funny? How would we even begin to change that? Nobody knows.

[–]MediumCareless 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I've been working on proper responses to this shit, and my conclusion is to get educated on the topics... I highly recommend reading political history, it applies. You're responses can be witty, quick, sharp, mildly painful, but correct and nobody can deny it. But not rude, loud or angry. You'll prove them right if you get mad. Have confidence, and speak up for yourself. Be sure of yourself and your surroundings, make sure you first, did not make some dumbest mistake, you'll feel even dumber if you get mad then.

Good luck with this. Take your time, show men how to act by being the leader of men. It's not easy. It can take years to build this empire of confidence and trust.

[–]CTPEMHO 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The main reason that men's issues are ignored or laughed at is because they can only be resolved by men. So it's a vicious circle, we create our own problems and we are the only ones who can solve them. Men enforce the law and all the rules. And it's mostly men who laugh at other men getting into any sort of predicament. Somehow we have more compassion for women and children then other men, which makes sense because we are also tasked with protecting them from other men, and thus we take their problems as our own, while some dude getting hit in the nuts is perceived as funny.
