Girl I'm seeing has recently asked me a few times to carry her purse. First time was a few days ago in the mall, I looked at her, couldn't believe I was actually hearing what I was hearing. I am a white male she is asian female. I pretended I didn't hear her and just ignored her for a few minutes until she forgot about asking it.

Again the next day she asked me to carry her purse downstairs (we were both upstairs in the bedroom). I told her that she is perfectly capable to carry her own purse. She tried insisting that I carry her purse downstairs I refused, ignored her requests and she forgot about it a few minutes later.

And finally last night, she once again asked me to carry her purse. I stopped, looked her in the eyes and told her "if you ask me to carry your purse again we are gonna have some serious problems on our hand" she grew silent and non verbally agreed to never ask me to carry it again.

Why was she asking me to carry her purse?
