My issue is that priorities go Woman > Child > Man. So whenever a woman is inconvenienced or harmed by the child she has pretty much every opportunity to get rid of them. But as soon as things like male "financial abortion" (just not paying for the kid) are mentioned people go "but well it's about what's best for the child", completely ignoring the fact that women are prioritized over the child in every scenario.

We need consistency, either make abortions and putting kids up for adoption (in cases where adoption would be worse for the child) illegal (putting the child first) or put men first along with women and allow men to abandon all paternal duties and rights.

If a woman doesn't want responsibility of the child, she can put it up for adoption. Never sees the child again, and never pays a penny. New parents must pay for everything, if adopted.

If a man doesn't want responsibility of the child, he still must pay child support, because it's the ethical and moral and right-thing-to-do. How *DARE* a man think he shouldn't pay. Dumping your hands clean of a child is a right reserved for women ONLY!

This is hypocracy, Honistly if a mother wants nothing to do with the child she can kill it, but she has no problems forcing a man who is not the bio dad to pay up child support, that is sick. What happens if the mother and the guy date for a few months then breaks up, is he automatically on the hook for paying child support? He should not, that is stupid,

I am not against forcing biological fathers to pay child support that baby is his responsibility.

This is how I look at it , abortion should be relatively available because it is not the rest of society's obligation to take care of your mistakes because either you forgot to take your birth control pill , or you forgot to put the rubber on your dick.

And I'll state it again it is not society's obligation to take care of your irresponsible behavior, either wrap or pill block it , or someone's going to pay it shouldn't be all of us other tax payers obligation .

If people are so worried about having to pay out $400 to $600 some dollars a month until somebody turns 18 , then have abortion more available , makes total sense, plus it's a less economical stress on society to NOT have to pay out years of section 8, food stamps, Medicare Medicaid etc , mean come on abortion in itself is just so much cheaper, so make it easily accessible so people can obtain them , and then men won't have to worry about paying out and Society won't have to worry about paying for other people's mistakes they put up for adoption or pay out generational aid.

Men's choice for parenthood begins and ends at conception. This is nobody's fault. This is how humans evolved.

Women have more options than men because they gestate. Men don't. Again, this is nobody's fault. It's a biological reality. Women now having control of their gestation is a medical reality and a good thing. Why begrudge them?

Laws that say men should pay regardless of biology are stupid. Men share equally if not majorly in the creation of those laws.

Laws that enforce the rights of a child to support from both parents are good laws. When a man pays child support, that's the child's right. It's not the mother's right. The mother is not to blame because the father is responsible for his children.

The woman is the one who has to go through the pregnancy, therefore she should chose wether or not she chooses to go through with it, the man doesn’t have to go through anything related to the pregnancy, the same way women shouldn’t have a say in vasectomy’s as it does not affect the women, when the baby is born and the mother wants to put it in care the father has the right to object and take the child, child support is for the child, if you are the biological father to a child it is the morally right thing to do, the mother takes on care while you pay, if the mother uses that on herself then that’s on her and she is in the wrong, but mostly the money would be spent in the best interest of the child

Most of this list is bs. Either or both parents can absolutely give up all rights to the child and walk away. All the child support stuff becomes an issue when the non custodial parent wants to maintain certain parental rights.

You know, I used to fight this point vehemently too but I've recently changed my mind on it. I admittedly don't have a good reason other than:

I'll explain the best I can. When a fetus is aborted, that child never comes to term (obviously). In my opinion, it's life never began so it's not being deprived of anything and it's certainly not murder, as some pro-lifers like to put it. It's a completely neutral action. But if the baby is actually born, there's a living, breathing child who needs love, care, and guidance.

So if you abstain from paying child support, its wildly different than a mother aborting a fetus. A child is being deprived entitlements required by the biological parent. It's the same reason "post-birth abortions" aren't a thing. Because it's no longer a fetus, it's a human child. The circumstances have fundamentally changed.
