I knew his marriage was suspect. When he announced their engagement and her age, I did a major side eye. His career has always been well calculated by his media team.

Now, I’m waiting on Jay Chou to have some type of scandal. Because his wife is super young too.

I'm Chinese and yeah everyone in the Sinosphere is talking about him. Kind of surprised he got mentioned here as I assume he's not well-known outside of the Sinosphere. Wang Leehom (and his parents) is a total scumbag. I can't think of a male celebrity in the Sinosphere who is more "scumbaggy" than him.

I feel so sorry for Lee Jinglei. She was educated at Princeton and Colombia Univeristy and had a great career at JPMorgan as a assistant vice president of her department. She had to give that up to look after their kids but got dumped by her husband as soon as she gave birth to a son. Wang ruined Lee's life and Lee would have so much money and career success had she never met him.
