He's telling you exactly where he is and how he feels. Listen to him. This isn't about you. It's about him and what he wants and needs, which he's communicating quite clearly. If you want something serious, you should probably look elsewhere. If you want to have fun and see where things go, knowing that he might bail in a month, because he's not ready, that's fine, but you need to be okay with that possibility. It also seems likelier for that to happen if you continue to see each other every day. Maybe cut back to a couple of times a week if you're going to pursue this man.

I think it means he likes you! But two weeks isn't enough time to get to know someone and it's much less to decide if you want to date. So don't tell him you want to go further, even if you're already excited about that idea.

I would also like to suggest that you take some distance, I understand that spending time with someone you like is tempting but I wouldn't recommend you meeting with him every night or spending hours texting/talking on the phone as the excitement can wear off quickly. Let him know you're busy with school, work or chores (even if you're not), sometimes you gotta play innocent mind games, this helps keep mistery and interest because it means that you're not 'desperate' to be with him all the time, he will start wondering what are you doing that is more important than him, plus it will make more time to figure out if he wants to be with you in a long term relationship.

Pace the relationship.

Also, the best guy in the world will try this play. It’s up to you to show that you’re a HVW and won’t fall for it.

Let him be consistent for a longer period of time. This will be a better indicator of his level of interest and commitment.
