• no wars, no killer diseases, more sheltered lifestyles has lead to a young male surplus pretty much everywhere in the world. Usually, a lot more young men would have died by the time they reached 30, but not anymore

  • social media, dating apps and globalizations have given women more dating options than ever before, which means you now have to compete with men from potentally the entire world for the girl you like as opposed to just the men from your local community

  • increased social safety nets has lead to greater financial independence for women, which has rendered men who are merely providers, but otherwise unremarkable, useless and purposeless

  • increased sexual liberation has encouraged more women to become lesbian or bisexual

  • decreased religiosity has greatly reduced social pressure on women to find a man to marry and have kids with

Overall, the bigger picture is this. Women are more independent than ever both financally and socially, thus less inclined to pair with men just for financial reasons, instead only considering men who are a catch in another aspect (hot, high status or both) or even disregard men altogether and date women themselves. Meanwhile, men are living longer than they should and the male surplus has oversaturated the dating market with competition.

So really, the problem isn't you, the average Joe reading this. Society is the problem. It's stacked against you. You have to struggle several times harder to get a woman than your father, grandfather and the rest of your male ancestors. It's not your fault, it's just the price that has to be paid to have a society 80 years free of wars, genocides and miserable living conditions.

That being said, your only real options are giving up on dating or going all in on making a name for yourself in something, which will bring you high status and, in turn, women's attention. Half measures don't cut it anymore in 2022. If you're the kind of dude who doesn't have ambition to be a master at something of value and never leaves his comfort zone, it's already over for you. That may have worked for your dad your gramps, but it's not gonna work for you. Now, it's either go big and get the girl or go home and die bitter and alone.
