Of course it's male privilege. The men get to stay home, while the women are uprooted and forced to live in another country. Don't you see how war victimizes women the worst? /S

Seriously saw people somehow twisting it into a selfish move by the men on those videos in some comment threads. Absolutely insane. As if they have a choice to stay. Even if they didn’t how do you not at least admire the decision to fight for your country?

They’re difficult goodbyes for sure…I remember when my dad worked the pipeline. I hardly knew him and it got worse with every time he had to leave again. Of course he wasn’t forced to leave, but I do understand how hard it is for these people. They all deserve better

I'm ok with men going to war and women taking the kids to a safe place. But its the radical feminists that like to muddy the waters. I took the video as another display of healthy masculinity. We should be proud of our brothers for stepping up.
