Same reason men in the UK were given white feathers by feminists to shame and humiliate them for not fighting in WW1 (even if it was for a legitimate reason such as medical issues). Men have always been expected to die all throughout history; yet men are the 'privileged' ones.

There are far more recent examples. Just last year, men trying to flee Afghanistan by literally attempting to cling onto the outside of aircraft taxiing for take off were called cowards by the media supposedly because women could be on those planes. They were on those planes..... Just on the inside!

Nothing about hating women but if it comes down to it and there's one seat left in a boat I don't care if there's a line of women and children in front of me, I'm climbing over everyone to get out lol. I don't hate either but I prefer being alive than being remembered for a few seconds as the random guy who let someone else take his seat.
