I suppose there might occasions in which it might be a good idea.

Very LTR worthy girl, guy had high SMV and had the "gotta fuck'em all" bug, now wants to settle and have a bit of self indulgence with a girl that won't leave him for that, maybe start a family.

I know a couple in which the guy wanted to settle and she heard the strong call of the CC, called it quits, rode it for six months or so, felt like settling, asked him for a chance. Her ride wasn't an issue for him (reasons) and they are married and happy these days.
