I’ve (23f) been dating my boyfriend (29m) for 2.5 years. We were talking about moving in together and the plan was that he pays bills and I pay for food. Ideally he would like me to cook but I don’t really cook to his dietary restrictions so probably he’d cook his own.

We both work full time I just graduated no student debt, in one year it’ll be 62k and have 70k in savings. He’s making 65k, 16k in savings 35k in debt.

He is an extreme minimalist where he doesn’t really believe in buying anything besides necessities. He told me that if we move in together I should get rid of a lot of my stuff and I said absolutely not. He’d want to live in a small place which I’m fine with however where he lives now is way too small for us to both live. He’s always asking questions to see if I’m financially irresponsible like what do I spend money on. Having a lot of things stresses him out because his parent hoarded.

I don’t think he respects one of my dreams. I want to have a baby at 30 and work part time remotely. I told him before I want to invest and save my income for when I have a baby and build generational wealth so they wouldn’t have to live in poverty like me (took care of my sick parent growing up and worked.) I also have a fundamental view that because I’m doing more emotional and physical labor for the baby I shouldn’t have to financially.

I honestly have no idea if we’ll be in the same wavelengths to move in together and after a certain amount of time should I just move on? Or do you think my relationship can be salvaged?
