I just wanted to highlight a point for my woke brothers out there. And by woke you're aware of the double standard that exists in men versus women's rights.

I have been a lawyer for some time, and women are given much more lenient sentences for similar crimes. Women are often released pretrial without conditions, while men are detained.

Just today, I handled a domestic violence charge for a woman, she received a dismissal of the charges, which were amended to a battery, once she completes a course. Great result, but I didn't have to work hard to get here, it was because she is a woman. Same facts with a man and the prosecutor would have looked for a guilty plea.

I wanted to post this topic up, because, unlike other observations we know to be true, this observation of the disparate treatment of men versus women in the American criminal justice system is palpable and can be proved.

Women want equal rights, they should be given equal treatment within the criminal justice system.
