Bangladesh had (one of) the most severe school closing policies during the pandemic. While aid organisations have not too much trouble securing funding for helping girls getting back to school, they faces substancial difficulties in securing funding to help boys.

It's good that even some of the worlds poorest countries have protected education for girls, but would it have killed anyone to equally protect education for boys? I have a son and you cannot convince me that this is what equity looks like.
