I am personally in favour of UBI. With regards to social problems, there are a lot of issues with boys in schooling, so a lot of investment in K12 education is needed. While I personally like the sciences, we should invest and popularise trades in children. There's a trade worker shortage in the United States and they are quite well paying. With regards to manufacturing jobs, we just need to accept that they are gone and aren't coming back and plan accordingly.

Absolutely. Any discrimination and demonisation of LGBTQ+ people is absolutely unacceptable. That was one of the main reasons why I wasn't part of the MRA movement for quite some time. I was always extremely supportive of LGBT rights and a lot of homophobia in many MRA circles really put me off.

I just think that since you can't prevent most of these things from happening it's useless to worry about it. I also sometimes just think of what I would do if I were placed in a such a situation and develop a very basic plan. It may be silly but makes you feel secure.

Jan 6 as a standalone event wasn't serious physically. It was serious in the event that it broke the fourth wall and for the first time in a long time brought political violence back. The fact that Trump egged it on is what makes it serious. And the fact one act of political violence leads to more acts of political violence. And the next ones may not be as benign.

Well, the left if not directly is still indirectly helping men a lot. More support for the homeless. Most of them are men. Police and criminal justice reform. Benefits men the most. Making civil rights protections to LGBTQ folk. Most victims of discrimination and hate crime are men. And Michael Knowles and the entire Daily Wire went apeshit over women being drafted. Saying things like it's shameful that America is sending women instead of men to war.

With regards to refugees for instance, see how conservatives complain about men coming but never about women. They keep saying that these men are cowards because they fled but apparently, that doesn't apply to women. Or when men flee a crime scene compared to women. Conservatives treat a subset of men better but the moment you deviate from that, they will hate you with a passion.

It's more complicated. While I support criminalising martial rape, the other side has a point. In India, a woman's testimony in a rape case can be treated as evidence and the man has to prove he's innocent taking a giant dump on the presumption of innocence. Add to that, in India filling criminal cases to settle scores is way too common.
