If you have to prepackage reality in order for people to understand it, then they were never capable of understanding reality in the first place.

If that's a given, the journalistic process is bound to twist reality and mislead people.

Objectivity is a myth, this applies to everyone. Chances are, if one of us was a reporter, it’d sounds similar, only in reverse. Regardless, the reaction of both groups would be vastly similar and very enlightening.

Journalism has been a dumpster fire, for a while now, mostly because of the internet.

You don't need to work too hard to start your own blog and call yourself a reporter. Just the same as Buzzfeed and other shitty journalist-lite chunks of the internet will sometimes do these same kind of reddit polls & response fishing.
