It seems as though no matter how much I listen to and truly try to understand the feminist stuff my mom says, she just refuses to listen to or even debate anything I mention involving men’s issues. Instead she just discredits them by yelling at me and crying with the argument “women have it worse”. I just don’t get how a mother can discredit it when her own son is describing his inability to express certain feelings and emotions to others without being laughed at or judged. It just feels like there’s nobody who I can talk to and will actually listen to me without immediately making judgments. I hope that one day men will be able to feel comfortable expressing their feelings without everyone discrediting and judging them
