So I texted this girl on Instagram, talked for a couple days, and when I asked her to hangout she told me " I'll be honest I have a boyfriend, there are some problems because we're different but for now I still have a boyfriend " then I told her that it was up to her and that if the situation changed or she just wanted to get to know me she knew where to find me, to which she replied something like "you're very kind, thank you for understanding ". Now I believe I made the right choice, just because I let her know I can play my role without pressing her and I left the "ball" in her hands. But I'm curious to know your thoughts, this is the first time that a girl tells me this instead of the normal "I have a boyfriend." Do you think this is basically the same thing or there might mean something different?
