Just saw the movie.

Waymond is an amazing man. I think he is the best version of ourselves, the best version that men could be.

However we should never be Waymond. As Evlyns Father says he is too soft fir the world.

He may have been a warrior in his own right, he may be acting strategically to keep himself able to try again but the rewards more often than not is either a spouse who sees no value added because of you or at worst sees you as an impediment to their sucess.

Do not conceed

Do not minimise your own contribution.

Be kind, don't be an asshole, but frequently remind them if it's ever called to doubt, you could be anywhere else, you would probably be happy. Being with them is simply a choice you make because you see value in that action.

Never stay locked into a future with somone who thinks less of you.

Don't be Waymond. Kindness is often mistaken fir incompetence.
