Have some experience. Not much success though. Can't say it's really feasible. I think we as men are biologically predisposed to mate-guarding as a way of assuring progenity.

I think it requires a high development of non-attachment or outcome independence to make this work. In short you need to be able to sublimate your baser instincts in favor of higher order thinking. Not an easy task for anyone and something that requires quite a bit of skill, self-discipline, and awareness.

Why not just spin plates? It's much easier to go that route.

yeah. we were officially not exclusive, but she was loyal. when she sensed that i was using it, she found an excuse to see me more often, thereby reducing the number of women i could date.

although maybe this falls under your "plate numero uno" category, since she was married (to someone else). she was a plate for 1.5 years, which qualifies as LTR in my book.
