Those of us with children and a divorce or separation under our belts understand explicitly how bittersweet this day can be. To all of you who feel underappreciated, unappreciated, left behind altogether, I'm here to remind you on this emotional day that you are still important! While it's not the life most of us would have chosen, we have a daily opportunity to dedicate ourselves freshly to the pursuit of happiness. That is the only goal-seek happiness. Kids see everything, they hear everything, and they frequently know more than we want them too. These days of trial will pass, and it will be our children that redeem us and help us feel whole again. It may not happen today, but hang on, brothers... Good things will come to those that perservere. Kids always seem to figure out who really carried them when they needed it most. Keep your heads up gentlemen, and remember you are worthy of love, and you very much are loved, even if you can't always feel it. Happy Fathers Day guys, I hope you're good to yourselves today. ❤
