Fathers have a responsibility to raise their children, but what you discover, when you actually learn about family law in western nations, is that the myth of the black fathers abandoning their kids simply isn't true. Black fathers do everything in their power to raise their kids, but because of the way our laws work, women are able to force them out of their natural role.

Most of this happens behind the scenes, so most people don't know that these charity case mothers actually secured orders to force these fathers out, and that they collected large sums of money for it.

Another factor many people don't realize is that the majority of single mothers were in long term relationships with fathers at the time they had their kids, and that fathers had every reason to believe they would continue raising their kids in the same context. It is extremely easy to parent your kids in that context, because the mother keeps them in your house. When the mother gets involved with new guys is when all that changes. Then the system forces the father to parent the children while she drags them all over, to all different guys. That's a much more difficult job. Often the mother drags them to a guy in a different state or secures a restraining order, so he can't parent them (it does not require any kind of violence.)

Bottom line, those are all choices women make, to their own advantage, not choices that fathers or children make. There are a handful of fathers who simply don't take responsibility for their own family members, because of drugs or some other factors, and it is true, that is a type of dereliction, but they are much rarer than single mothers, and even in those instances, you find it is mother who are selecting them as fathers, to a much greater extent than such men are selecting them as mothers. So I blame single mothers, yes.

If the youths in the story had fathers in their home, they would not have had the audacity to kill a senior citizen just for fun. But they all had mothers. Mothers don't do shit.

No offense, but you are completely ignorant of how child custody is decided in western nations. I would be glad to explain the complete process to you, but I don't have that kind of free time today. If what you are saying were true, there would be no custody orders. It is true that men are often forced to sign stipulated orders. But that is not because they voluntarily agree to those orders. It works much like a criminal proceeding, except the male parent is always the defendant, the female parent is allowed to function as a mock victim, and in place of a prosecutor, most courts appoint an feminist activist called a mediator who's allowed to exercise extrajudicial ruling over the case.

Just as a criminal defendant in western nations is often incarcerated until they can be tried, with or without any proof, a male parent almost always has his children taken from him with a temporary order. Courts have the ability to make "emergency" orders without evidence, because the law afford them special power to rule on matters than cannot be tried immediately. However, these temporary orders are issued in almost every child custody case that is brought before a family law courts. And they are almost never overturned.

Just as a criminal defendant might be told that if he doesn't plead guilty to a lesser charge, they will send him away for life, these fathers are told if they don't accept a couple hours a week with their kids, and try try to litigate, they won't be allowed to see them ever again. And normally courts follow through with that. Dads who don't accept a mediator's ruling are not permitted to see their kids ever again.

That's where the often quoted figure, that most litigation results in stipulated orders, comes from. If I had the time, I would explain the details. But the Blankenhorn book in the link I provided explains this at great length, so please read it if you have any more questions. It is true that among black men, there are fathers who do not even attempt to get their kids, but that is because they view it as hopeless, to try to do so.
