Here are several observations from an attractive woman I know who is dating. Some of these observations will be obvious. Others might be a surprise. The woman in question is a 5ft4 white woman who has a girl-next-door look. She's very pretty but doesn't look like a knockout supermodel a la Gisele Bundchen. She resides in the Boston area. She's been using Hinge and Bumble as her main sources for dating. (No Tinder)
- The attention she gets is insane. Within several hours, she gets a 1,000 likes on the app. While she doesn't get matched with every guy she swipes right on, she gets matched with a good bunch of them. She decided to swipe left on most of these guys to clean up her feed. She gets the number down to 75. After an half hour, she finds 50 more matches. Think about how insane that is. A very impressive man will get 50 to 60 likes a week. That's peanuts to what a good looking woman will get in a day. She gets that in thirty minutes. It's as if she is 90s Brad Pitt or Christian Ronaldo. How many men do you know (even if they are good with the ladies) get an endless amounts of ladies coming up to them?
- While she gets matched up with all types of men, she is getting liked by men with incredibly strong careers/career paths. These are men who work in Goldman Sachs, work in big law firms, attend prestigious medical schools, attend Harvard and MIT etc. (No joke) The crazy thing is she didn't even list her education or career profile on her dating app page. Despite this, high-level men still went after her.
- However, she did have a killer sense of fashion and posted clever things on her profile. She wasn't posting vapid images of herself in a thong; She showcased her simple beauty with elegant fashion choices. In addition, she listed several intellectual interests of hers. (Travel, wine, art, architecture, history, flamenco, and movies) She's also from Spain, by the way.
- My takeaway? Being an attractive, young woman in a big coastal city is a huge privilege. When it comes to dating, there's no person you'd rather be. I will go as far to say they are no downsides to dating if you fit this profile. She is literally a phone call (or several) from a rich lifestyle if she chooses. If women were smart, they wouldn't complain about ''no good men''' being out there. Because they very much are, and they are looking for the opportunity to strike while the iron is hot.
This isn't a ''woe is me'' post. It's just my observations.
