No special situation with women and this thread is not for me, but talking things out? Really?

In too many situations a hard cut from a person is required to safe your mental health. Especially if talking before did not help or if the transgression was too sever.

So as friendly reminder: You are not the asshole, if you remove assholes from your circles.

In text only, what is your situation and how did she/they hurt you? She was my friend, my best friend. We were so close and went through everything for 5 years. We were inseparable and accomplished so much... every second we laughed or had deep convos, made love, cuddled and just talked. Even when we saw other people or had serious relationships with other people we were always together as friends and supportive of everything.

What was the outcome? She chose to be promiscuous with a different guy e edu couple of days and eventually had 2 kids with 2 different guys. 1 of which was a drug dealer. I had to watch her get abused, see the bruises on her kids, saw her oldest develop a severe anxiety response to being hit by a bf of hers I didnt even know she was dating. I couldnt do anything because she defended every guy that came into the picture. She would have told the cops that I lied....

How did you deal with it? I just walked away. And I said goodbye to her family.

Did she apologize after you explained it? Nope. Still acts like a partying teenager at almost 30.

Did she "get it" afterwards? Not at all, and that once beautiful fun girl has turned into a disgusting graying shell of what she used to be. Miss you K. If only we could go back to those days in the library where I would make you laugh and you would put your head on my shoulder....

Nothing. I prefer moving on to better things in life that make me happy. But different people think differently.
