Short version: RP fantasy is by its own standards not feasible for most of its followers because its based on false dichotomous hierarchical thinking: "rp is alpha, everything else beta"... but aint no way we can all be alphas right?? Most of us are on the spectrum of normal.
Instead of actually adopting it & analyzing themselves: many or most rp fans live vicariously through gurus. RP is just a particularly toxic sales pitch.
Soemi self aware RP people begin to down themselves and be black pilled tho ultimately the entire RP view is dumbed down and fake af.

The RP wants and encourages a super hierarchical •shit on anyone you consider lesser• society with fake simplistic ranks like alpha and beta.
The fact is most people are not going to be super duper successful. Average is the average, even many people who legitimately bust their ass to "make it" may find only moderate success if that.
And even among successful people wouldn't those who were attractive & had charisma & clout from beginning or easily be better than those who had to work hard to gain it or fake it?
How do these average people (and nothing is wrong with being average + average is a spectrum) not see that they should feel statistically inclined to be forever betas in a time of economic & class stagnation?
The answer is a large part of RP's appeal is fantasy and living vicariously.
Seeing this (supposedly) successful man with nice cars and thousands of hot babes shit on those women who scorned them and other men they want to feel better than makes RP addicts feel validated.
Just because a man goes to a gym or even gets a nice job doesn't mean shit about having women or anyone throw themselves at his feet. You can have a high paying job and still be in toxic workplace, you can work out and may never have a model body. But when you watch RP vids, you can for that moment enjoy this fantasy vision of being at the top & having all your negative thoughts validated (even tho U arent living that life and tbh neither are the gurus preaching about it)
This is what I noticed from a lot of KS and FnF fans. They seem like mostly or largely working class average men (which isnt bad!!) Going on about "HVM". Is an amazon worker or UPS delivery person a HVM as some RP bozo would define it? No but he can spend all day insulting women telling them no HVM or whatever wants them.
Is a stocker HVM enough to shit on women and claim their education/career doesnt matter? No because most likely at his pay range he'd still more than benefit from a 2nd income. Keep in mind most RP gurus seem long removed from the working class (relying on podcast, shitty online course & grift money) and scoff at humble living. Ain't shit wrong with getting it how you get it, these sorts of jobs keep society functioning.
A lot of this ties into RP gurus often being narcissists. Host people on their podcasts and rain down insults while their viewers can take some sadistic joy in seeing some schmuck knocked down a peg for sins like being a woman over 25 seeking a PhD lol.
Annnnd YES a lot of youtube and instafluencer stuff encourages vicarious living & content slling. The difference is salt bae & kelly jenner aren't fucking telling their followers to see the other people as subhumans to advertise their product.
Going back to the blackpill thing: we see it on this very sub. Many of the men who DO absorb the message instead of solely projecting it are actually hurt by it, calling themselves "beta" and other derogatory language.
