I never asked my ex or questioned my son about what he watched at her house. I tried to maintain a respectful relationship and I think that did our son some good. My son once was playing doctor with the neighbor girl and her mom caught them. My ex told me watch out for the porn. I had no porn. I wouldn't have that around a child. But I wasn't angry for her asking and I agreed with her.

That is not an appropriate programme for a seven year old. The Father has every right to object and the mother has acted irresponsible.

From personal experience, the ex gf of a relative let's her 8 and 10 year old watch 'Mrs Brown Boys' (awful Irish / UK comedy with a foul mouthed grandma played by a man)! He's objected and shared his concerns....she hasn't listened and social services are sniffing around her.
