This story and others that one inevitably encounters after Googling "Guy saves woman from being raped" or the like reminds me of a parallel between The MRM's disastrous PR thus far and the recent blunders of The Democratic Party https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNdfVSPixsE Especially what's said between 1. 0:32-2:00 and 2. 3:30-3:52

Rallying public support behind "men's issues" is going to require us to similarly go out in our neighborhoods and communities, for the express purpose of gloating, promoting, and hammering home to the general public that so-called men's issues are really American troubles which demand the attending and energies of us all. We can easily gloat and promote, by going door to door, and inundating the public with stories like heroism of those three fellas in Aurora, along with loading them down with tales of just how vital skillful working men are to the functioning of our civilization. Yeah, things COULD be better for us in a lot of ways. This isn't an excuse for not exploiting all the many advantages that we have though, when it comes to selling the public on our goals
We here at The MRM have also been a whiny lot, who's idea of sociopolitical engagement has been endlessly griping about the unfairness of life on social media for an inexcusably long time. We(and our nation)could benefit immensely from "getting out there and fighting", and especially from hitting the feminists hard on their sheer absence of substance. The top feminist lobbies in America stand for nothing other than dragging out simple child custody cases out for months/sometimes years, and handwringing over non-troversies like transgender bathrooms
