I can't speak for everyone, but since I've been on this sub I think it actually does a decent job of supporting women in terms of equality and holding them accountable for their actions as it does with men.

Sure there's some venting and complaining here and there but have you seen Two X in the, oh, last hour or so? For a sub about women there sure are a lot of rants about men and how menneed to behave.

Two wrongs don't make a right but my point is shots get fired on both sides and to some degree venting a little frustration is healthy for all humans.

In any case I love all the women in my life and generally speaking I think they're awesome people. We all have our faults. Reddit is also just a shit show in general. It's literally designed to be an echo chamber for better or worse.

As far as I'm concerned, female MRAs here are as much of a friend as male MRAs. We are egalitarians after all

Feminists and women are not one and the same. There are women who support equal rights for men and there are feminist men who support advantaging women over men. (The latter often being self-loathing.)

Literally no one here is advocating for the mistreatment of women that I've seen. I think it's funny I see a "Not all women" post on this sub almost daily but if you go to some of the gynocentric subs they never say "Not all men". In fact, they usually say the opposite or worse quite regularly and there's no pushback.

Can't we just have our own place to discuss mens issues without some white knight coming along every two second?

Don’t get the wrong idea of women here while there are definitely alot of bad women out there, remember there are alot of good women as well.

Polarized thinking like this(bad vs good)hasn't been helpful to us; at the very least, it sets us up to be continuously blindsided and disappointed, when so-called good women prove themselves to be no more or less flawed than all other human beings are. All women almost certainly do harbor prejudices towards and ignorance about men, just as we men harbor prejudices towards and ignorance about women. We've also been hoodwinked by the most prominent figures within The MRM into believing that prejudice and bias is synomous with misandry, much in the same way feminism scammed women into believing that ignorance and bias from men is the equivalent of misogyny

The effects of us adopting this sort of thinking have been disastrous, especially as it pertains to our capacity to win the support of a broad cross section of the general public. We've been walking up to non-MRA constituents, while operating under an often unrecognized belief that goes something like this: "I'm just going to present everyone who's not a card-carrying MRA with a laundry list of Red Pill talking points, and some graphs and charts to back up those talking points. There's no need for me/the rest of us in the movement to trouble ourselves with norm-ie things like building rapport with the folks whom I'm trying to sell on our goals, much less ask them what they're primary worries in life are, and then pointing out the many ways in which "men's issues" are relevant to things like the economy, safe neighborhoods, and providing a brighter future for America

All women who reflexively scoff when we try to discuss the topics which are important to us aren't just ignorant people who need a little help to see the light; they're modern day Madame Maos, who are irredeemably evil to their core. All men who reply to us "All that you're saying is nice.... But how will my supporting you help me to buy a house, get a higher paying job, state of the art medical care, and nice neighborhoods for my future kids to grow up in?" aren't just regular Joes who are consumed with the daunting task of just trying to stay above water, so much so that they don't have the luxury of mulling over vague buzzwords like Gynocentrism.... They're Blue Pill Cucks, who are too stupid to understand our genius. Such men are no more reachable than those modern day Madame Maos are"

Last anyone heard, women outnumber us, and will likely continue to do so for the foreseeable future; any legislative or policy reform that we desire ain't going to happen, unless a substainal number of them are persuaded that such reforms will relieve their day to day burdens. Most men aren't MRAs, and are at best mildly familiar with the movement;s platform. As long as we continue to separate "men's issues" from the troubles which are foremost in the minds of most of our fellow citizens, we'll continue to remain a niche hobby among a vanishingly small number of folks on social media

Thank you. I was anticipating this group to be more about ways that men can fight for their own rights in terms of parenting or actually giving advice on being a better person to your wife or family. My experience so far has really differentiated from that with some guys just complaining to complain.

Now I'm not saying that there isn't anything validating it cause there certainly a case for everything. But when all your seeing is venting, ranting and black-pilling it really warps the mind for young impressionable men here.

Thanks for this reminder and I'm hoping this can help break the tunnel visioned.
