Hey guys, I'm a long time lurker and first time poster. This sub has helped me out a lot since I stumbled on it a while ago.

I just have to post this today because I gotta get some answers from the older folk.

Basically, met this girl a month ago, and a few days ago, we had sex. Today, we chilled for a bit after college (both college students), it was fun at first, but then I ended up at hers, was about to sleep over too. Then things got a bit deep (probably my own fault as I wanted to probe a bit closer into her past), only to get completely caught off guard. The girl used to be in a four year relationship with the ex (her first), was about to get married and all, even both sides parents met with each other. Turned out the guy met another girl whilst at a different college for post grad. This was about a year ago.

It didn't bother me so much until she said that although she cut all contact with him, she sometimes looks at his Instagram sometimes and cries about her ex when she thinks of it. Safe to say that I got a nasty gut reaction, lost frame and left the place as soon as I could and she wasn't down for doing anything more.

I had explained that if she ever thought I wasn't good enough and want to go back to him, she can leave whenever. I point blank said that I don't think you are over your ex to which she denied it back at point blank. However I feel like even though she probably hasn't spoken to the guy in a long time, the stalking an ex on Instagram is not something that is normal, but more so the crying?

How do I regain frame? Because I kind of just want to put it straight up to her next time I see her that as long as you're with me, it's us. Only asking because I feel like I'm getting a case of oneitis and would want to carry it on without getting too emotionally invested if she's still not over her ex, or shall I just cut it off now? She already thinks of me as a bf. But my gut was telling me that she probably isn't over he ex as much as she denied it.

Oh yeah. I'm meeting up with her this Fri night to play crazy golf or something. I would love to know what u guys think before then because judging by your opinions, I'll know how to proceed on Fri.
