The difference in meaning he's trying to convey does not work because there is nothing in those phrases indicating that, meaning that the interpretation depends solely on the reader, hence, it's his interpretation, not what those phrases really mean.

I have already said it before, those phrases should be judged instead purely on what they linguistically say on screen.

Try asking "Why is it misogyny to reverse the genders in a statement by literally any feminist and repeat it back to them?" anywhere but the manosphere, and you will be immediately tackled to the ground by angry 300 lb femcels AND whiteknights/simps.

They're like Samuel L. Jackson's character in Django Unchained. They're so far gone they're happy to help "massuh" give you a "whoopin'" when you get "uppity".
