Just need to vent a bit

I had started talking with this girl about a month ago, I really loved her style and she liked mine, we matched very well. We had been following each other on social media for a few months before, but really started talking about this time last month. Two weeks ago, I drove to her to have our first date, it went really well and we ended up talking about anything and everything until 3 in the morning, we totally clicked.

The next weekend she wanted to come over to my place, so again I picked her up and she ended up staying the night with me. Again, we clicked really well and we are into the same things in bed and as far as i could tell she had as good of a time as I had. It was a little sudden for me but I trusted her. We fell asleep in each other’s arms after a long night. I drove her home in the morning. I texted her an hour after dropping her off saying I had a nice time. She did not respond for another 3 days until I texted her again. When she did respond, it was very short and abrupt. Additionally, she left me on read on social media, but still posts regularly.

While getting to know each other, we both expressed that we don’t like hookups and prefer relationships, even if they’re short term. We would stay up late talking even if we both had work the next morning, I got the sense that she was falling for me (I certainly was falling for her). It’s been a week since we saw each other, and I’ve been really down about the whole thing. I was so excited to finally meet someone that valued me and I could do the same for them. And after such a nice time together, why would she just ghost me like that?? There wasn’t any indication that she was uncomfortable or anything like that. It really hurts. I feel that she just buttered me up for a few weeks so she could get validation from me (and my hoodie, that part stings)
